Bloggie Etiquette

Hi blogging world. Is three posts in one day too much? I’ve never done this before. I hope that you don’t find it too redundant. Earlier today I featured 10 blogs that I am connected with in some way. Many of them have become my foodie friends in the last few weeks and I have been very inspired and uplifted by each of them in some way.

However, there are others that were not mentioned. The reason for this is not because they were not at the top of my mind but because I could not identify an actual foodie blog. Many of you know I am still feeling my way around the blogger world and I do not mean to step on any toes.

One of the people who stepped up and helped me was a man named Ron. I refer to him as Chef Ron because this guy has some real skill. In fact, I was thinking about using one of his recipes for my Easter dessert on Sunday. I wanted to feature him earlier today. Honestly, I made a list of people and he was at the top of my list. How do I prove that? Aside from scanning my piece of paper filled with recipe scribbles and favorite bloggers, I have no clue. If you know me in life you know I do not lie and I wear my heart on my sleeve.

Now you should all  also know that my friend, Chef Ron, only has a facebook page. I was uncertain how to link this Easter Roundup to him so that he could create an entire meal. This is largely due to my naiveté when it comes to blogging on facebook. I don’t get it. I like looking at the pictures and seeing the recipes, but I find it much easier to have an actual blog that I can distinguish from facebook. I know that may not be an excuse for some of you, but it is the truth.

Today I disappointed one of my favorite foodies by not including him on my foodie picks all because of my naiveté. For that I am truly sorry. If you knew how it hurt me to read that he was disappointed, you all would probably think of me in a different light.

The only way I know how to fix this is to give a special shout to Ron Locke. Please check out his facebook page and and all of his awesome recipes!! He is an amazing chef [and, hopefully we can get him set up with a blog site soon!!]

Warmest Wishes,

Mel

Mel, you're such a CLASS ACT!:) It's amazing how we all as humans... live, learn and grow each and every day and come back to the dinner table to discuss it!

Thank you so very much for your kind words and once I get mywebsite finshed (Late May), we'll be "right as rain"! God bless and GOOD EATS my "FOODIE" friend!

Happy Easter!

Mel, I say we come up with a Memorial Day Game and we can both tag him!

I am so glad our paths crossed Mel. That was so sweet of you to write this. Ron does have an awesome facebook page and I can't wait until he does get a blog/website. He's got some mad skills in the kitchen.

I know for me my busy life can sometimes make it is so hard to 'keep up' with all that's going on in the blogger/facebook foodie world. I truly enjoy learning and sharing with everyone and I too hope I have never hurt someones feelings by not commenting on something or 'leaving' someone out. Just know that that is never the intention.

There's a lot of serious talent out there with marvelous ideas that I love to keep up with and you're truly one of them.

Thank you so much for the sweet words! You have no idea how much things like that mean to me! I am very glad that our paths crossed! I love your blog and all of the yummy entries!! I felt so horrible last night when Ron said he was disappointed. I was in tears. How weird does that sound? I never want to hurt people's feelings, especially those who have supported me like you all have! And when I have hurt somebody's feelings, unintentionally, I feel more horrible than anybody could ever realize [except my wonderful boyfriend!]

Again, thank you so much for leaving me such a kind message!

I hope that you have a wonderful Easter with many blessings! :)
